Look under enough rocks and you're bound to find gold! I scored a set of stock forks, a carbon can for a spare Yosh exhaust and a roached upper. Some bodywork and a little paint on one and emulators/springs in the other and my spares kit is complete.

They all get holes there from tight right handers, the dents is another story, lol.

Is Suzuki still building motersickles?

This is your second call to grid...

A couple hours glass work over a couple days got the upper ready for some paint. Didn't mess with filler since it's a spare and should look nice enough when done. Big diff going from red to blue.

Sent the forks to Trackside Labs for a refresh and respring if needed.

If Tony and I don't learn to ride soon I might as well, I'm getting lots of practice, lol.

A couple of noteworthy items of interest;

A. From the testing program of Deserted County Road Racing,

Comes this new lightweight landspeed record.

This comes on the heels of exceeding the maximum design limits of the stock motor @ 124 brake hp on an engine dyno,

Crank flex finding the structural weakness at a crank journal.

2. And this dyno graph showing the best runs of the common lightweight twins entrants in club racing, sporting all the common superbike mods. A 1st Gen SV with big flat sides and all the goodies, blue trace. A 2nd Gen SV with the goodies and bored everything, yellow trace. And the green trace is the previously posted best run of my FZ. They all end up at about the same place but the Yamaha has a solid midrange bump, advantage Blue Crew in superbike trim.
