You resoled your Alpinestars boots? Where did you source the new soles from? I know they sell soles for their dirtbike boots but not for the Supertech R. Did you use the dirtbike sole?

Whatever soles they use, they used. It looks like it was carefully custom trimmed to fit.

Updates:

Lee's shoe repair on Lake Street didn't even recognize a race boot and were not helpful.

Mike's Shoe Repair in Eagan did a great job replacing a zipper on my Sidi Boots and did a super clean repair on my suit. I will be going back there shortly with Sidi replacement soles and have him put those on for me. Fast turnaround too, 3 days!

I brought a suit to Mike's in Eagan earlier this year and was very pleased with the results and turnaround time.

Another suit was recently brought there that had aluminum shoulder/elbow sliders in areas that needed attention. He was less than thrilled to work on it and actually suggested to take it elsewhere. That's fine by me and good to know that he has some limitations on what he's comfortable working on.

I've only ever done patches, but recently had work done on Katie's suit that was torn at the seam between 2 panels and it was fixed perfectly by rejoining panels together. Guessing they could apply that to a larger panel and scale it up.

A new place - I will update with the ladies business once she gives me the OK. When I brought in Katie's suit I asked her if I could share her info and she said right now she was a solid couple months out on work, so didn't want to promise people stuff would get done (it took her an extra 4 weeks to do ours, I had brought it to her at the end of March and got it the Wednesday before CRA).

Quality work though!
