He just needs to vent sometimes. His parents never hugged him.

That's an understatement.

No shit! It is so hard to get a rise of out the few people who still post in here. Makes it kind of pointless. (Other than the fact that they know I am right and cant argie shit.)

DS your tires are still fucking retarded though.

I do love my ford ecoboost. Awesome power good gas mileage instead of that piece of shit 5.7 tundra motor from 1998

You might be thinking of the 4.7. Im pretty sure the 5.7 didn't come out till 2007.

There is a 6.2 option for GM that puts out 420hp, and is pretty quick, but its only available in the 1500. Otherwise its a 5.3 or a V6. The 2500s have a 6.0 V8.

I can't believe GM doesn't offer a large motor in the HD series anymore.
I love my big block 8.1 liter with the Allison tranny. Been a great truck for over 13 years now.

My next truck will be the 1500 with the 6.2L.

I looked at your ad and thought wow $32,000 is a lot for a pickup that's basically 7 years old.

So I went to craigslist and searched for Tundra's over $15,000 (lots of older beat up ones for cheap), and there were only 3 listed and 1 was yours.

Is it really that rare of a truck or are people just not selling them?

If you follow the kbb value, you'll see that the depreciation for Toyota trucks, especially the Tacomas, are much less than the other makers.

From your descriptions, you're comparing engines that are close to 10 years difference

Should have checked the year. 2006 was the first year of the iforce 5.7 V8. The point is Toyota has done nothing to innovate and keep up with engine technology. Itís fhe same old terrible gas mileage motor from 11 years ago. Ford and dodge have looked into smaller displacement motors with turbos to create better gas mileage. Ford with the ecoboost and dodge with the ecodiesel. Toyota and Chevrolet just keep producing 9-12 mpg V8s. The mantra that I drive a truck and therefore I must live with terrible gas mileage is dead.

WHOA STOP! Making sense now!!
I remember when some old dude wanted to race me in his brand new Tundra vs my 8 year old f150 with the 5.4. I whooped his ass. He wouldn't even look at me at the next light.
