I love Jeremy Martin's comments. (He literally grew up on the Millville track)

They needed to turn up the mic's, the racers all talked pretty quiet, I could barely hear them!

Jeremy Martin was racing 250sx and got 3rd, 3rd, and 1st in the mains, to win the 250sx overall.

Was quite an adventure getting there!

Hey now their house was atleast 50 feet away from the sand wash! I worked there when I was a teenager. It was sweet watching him on a pimped out 110 beating all the 250 A Class riders.

I agree. The interviews were sketchy.

It took us about an hour to get there sat. Not as bad as I thought. The brand new A/T tires I just put on my 4Runner definitely helped!

We stayed across the street at the Radisson Red sat night, and that is hooked up via skyways, so that worked out awesome!

Our neighborhood a little out in the boonies didn't get plowed at all Sat, so I was a little worried about how it was going to be getting home. The Tacoma (with tires at about 20% life left, this is the last winter for this set) made it through the 12" or so just fine on the way out. Once onto county roads and the freeway it was just the visibility and getting around all the stuck and struggling cars lol. Anything 2wd or low ground clearance was iffy. Even saw quite a few people in SUV's, trucks and subi's stuck. Also got to see a guy in an escalade fly by us probably +20mph on 394. About 3 miles later we saw him stuck in the snowplow berm of his exit probably because it came up too fast on him with the limited visibility. The way home was a breeze since the snow and wind let up and they had plowed the freeway and county roads well. It was funny (and sad) seeing 3-4 cars stuck at every single entrance/exit ramp on 394. The neighborhood was another story. By this time it was probably 14-15" on the roads there. The first 2 blocks were ok since others had packed it down a little. But then there was a guy in a buick sedan with bald tires stuck in the middle of the road. Another guy and I were able to push him back to a T so we could get by him. He had a friend already coming and I had kiddos in the car or I woulda offered to pull him out of the neighborhood. I keep the towstrap under the rear seats so i'd have to get the kids and carseats out. Once we got by him I saw our cul-de-sac block was untracked since we left. I was pretty nervous here because i knew it had snowed and drifted quite a bit while we were gone. But thankfully the truck got through it just fine. The driveway however had a good 24" of drifts across most of it though. I'm pretty sure if I tried to blast it I would have either gotten epically stuck or gone sliding into the far garage wall if managed to make it. So I parked in the middle of the road and let the wife and kids sleep in the truck while I snowblowed a path into the garage.

If we had no or older kids we would have just went downtown extra early and booked a hotel and made a big event of it. But a 3 year old and 1 year old in a single room suite is not a good time lol.

I always used to save my K02s for the winter. Consumer reports and Car n Driver both mention in multiple reviews how AT tires are much worse in snow than regular passenger tires lol.

Really? My Hankook Dyna Pro ATM's have been great for 2 winters now.

I wonder if they knew what they were doing when they labeled them "ATM"....

Hey I thought the K02s were awesome in the snow. Maybe we don't know what we're talking about? I mean they aren't as good as snow tires, I knew that, but worse than passenger tires? how the heck do i feel so confident and everyone else goes in the ditch? Maybe just my excellent hand/eye coordination?

Bridgestone Dueler Revo A/Ts. I've had many sets of those tires on many other trucks. They work AWESOME in the snow.
