@ 0:57 and then again at like 1:00 before you brake. Two separate things you're doing there. It's like you're turning off your supercharger before hitting the brakes! Haha. @ 1:53 and 2:07 again.

Guessing it's getting ready for braking, by holding the throttle with thumb + palm + ring + pinky finger, getting 1st two fingers ready to brake. This way I don't have to let go of the throttle to brake - it stays WOT, then as I bring my fingers down to the brake lever, the hand naturally rotates the throttle closed.

I will say I thought my hands used to be a lot more calm, then I watched this video and was like what the hell are they doing?!? I bet you may find your hands are behaving differently than you may think!

I'll be there working on vision, turning consistent laps and getting through 13 better.

I also have a full car because of weekend at the cabin with dog and girl coming along too. So no genny for me. Anyone mind bumming me some power? Happy to pay for the gas!

I'll be there working with TS1 folks. My 848 will be back on track and finally in good health - really hoping for a much less temperamental Italian than it's been previously. :naughty:

Damn straight- that was quite a tasty day!

According to my gopro super official timing procedure(with quadruple apple stopwatch redundancy) I finally reached my lap time goal of a 1:46 during the shootout, and went beyond. Super pumped, can't wait to get another shot at the short course! ..... next year :/

GoPro is the new Rolex!

Damn Dave that is impressive. So now you just can't plateau there for a year like I did. Looks like I was slowing you down for the first 2 laps...

Pretty disappointed in my riding, but I still had a great time.

Note to self: not all tire gauges are created equal. I thought I was running 23psi hot off the track on my rear tire, but it was more around 27-28psi. Broke loose on me in T2 during the shootout on the first lap, and I couldn't get on the gas anywhere without it sliding out. At that point I just shut down. A-A-Ron and Harry are fast.

Hopefully no one is too physically and mentally scarred from all the crashes.

I ran with a gauge that was 9 pounds out for 2 race weekends before I found out, I felt like an idiot after. Now I watch my gauge.

Jim Wiles bought my pressure gauge test fixture, just ask him and he'll let you test your gauge.
