Do you have a good link for more info on that bike? I just did a quick search and it looks like an incredible machine.

That's it, I'm not letting Luke try to start my bike!

Oh, come on! I've been doing it for decades without a problem! Just ask my trustworthy friend Clyde over there by the keg.

The BEST way to learn more about that bike is to talk to the people that were around it. The fact it was made and developed here in MN and with CRA folks means you can find some good stories if you ask around. Mark Miller is a good starting point, or Jim H. if you end up seeing him in person!

LOL^

That bike will do that to any machine. Time for you to really 1-up it.

Thanks for the links. I can't find a good video of it in action. What a shame. I was hoping to see it in the hands of a capable racer.

My account would be this... I was a novice the year before. Three of us were doing lap times that would have us in the top five expert. Our first year expert I went out at MAM and got a launch from hell. I started 3rd or 4th row and went into T1 in 1st place. I led 5 or 6 laps then Rob Jensen passes me on the inside on that Fín bike. No big deal right? Except he was at a lean angle that I didnít think could be done, on the rear wheel, and when he went by, the freakin tire was smoking! Talking about putting me in my place as a first year expert! He went into the next corner so much deeper than I could ever have imagined! It was amazing!!! Next ask me about the race that Rob threw it down the straightaway went. That was spectacular too.

Wow, I remember reading the original CW article (the second link above) and thinking his incredible that bike must have been. It didnít dawn on me that other people saw it, worked on it and even competed against it. Unbelievable what can be done if you have the means.

Iíd love to see it in person........

Well, the engine is officially in and finished. I tracked down a guy in Missouri who builds flywheel covers to accommodate the hand held starter. Mike said he will have the exhaust and tank finished this week. Now it is a waiting game on the bodywork so we can figure out where to install frame tags. Hoping it shows up soon so there is time to have it painted! I canít seem to upload pics right now.
