Bautistamoon is over.
Kawi brings it.
😝

Kawasaki and Yamaha will have better luck at Assen, but wouldn't bet on any first place finishes at this point. Maybe Dorna will make changes before then to level the playing field...

WSBK/FIM:

Ducati - reduction of 250rpm.

Will that even make a difference? Doesn't seem like it would, but maybe someone can drop some knowledge.

You'd be surprised. That's not just off the top, it effects every gear, moves the power band. Imagine short shifting your R6 every shift, all race; right when you want that little extra, you got nuthin. Change your riding style, change your shift points, gearing needs to be adjusted...

I'll refrain from posting pics/vids and just say it was awesome. I didn't realize what I was missing out on every year until I was sitting in T15 watching these savages push it to the limit lap after lap. Had pit passes so we spent a lot of time meeting the racers, but my favorite was getting to meet Davide Brivio after the Motogp race. That guy is all class!

Met a few MN's! Jessica J saw me as I was walking by between T18 and 19. Got to catch up with her. Evil Santa has been in Texas all winter and happened to be in Austin. He helped me out by picking me up from the airport when I got in a night early to miss the blizzard. Him and his wife put me up for my first night because my hotel reservation wasn't till the following night. I didn't get to hook up with several others that I know were down there.

Did anyone see me on TV? It was before the Moto2 2nd qualifier. I guess my $7 TX flag umbrella stood out on top of turn 2. It was a wind block for the ridiculous post-thunder storm winds. #majesticAF
