Rulebook Amendment, for immediate release.

We are always looking for ways to keep our club growing and inclusive to the most amount of members as possible, while still keeping the club itself as a #1 priority.  Thanks to some hard work done many years ago by previous Boards, the club has a really great and affordable insurance policy that we are fortunate to have. This is one of the several reasons we can keep our pricing lower than just about any road racing organization in the country.

Over the years we have had many various racers under the age of 18 race with us, or express an interest in racing with us.  After much collaboration and discussion between the Board and Stewards, we decided to have a candid talk with our insurance provider about our age of licensure being 18, and what it would take to lower it to 16.  They approved our request to lower the age to 16!

At this point, we are limiting 17 years old and younger novice racers to GP2 or below bikes.  We have also kept the ability of the Stewards to approve, on a case by case basis, riders below the age of 16 to race with our club.

Please find the following text of the exact rule change, which will be published soon on our website and sent out with the next newsletter.
