I have a spare swingarm I would set up for drags so I was thinking about doing both. At least you-know-who wouldn't be lined up next to me taking my lunch money on the straight course.

Hey however you can get your wins I guess ;)

I've been plagued by a problem with some parasitic drag in the front brakes when they get very hot. It appears the discs will drag, ever so lightly, against one of the pads when brake pressure is released. The pads retract as they should but the disc tends to crowd one way and rub. The stock rotors have buttons with a wave style spring washer under one side. My guess is this encourages the disc to float (only talking a couple tenthousandths) toward the pad opposite the wave spring. I've tried different pads, different master, swapping/bleeding/upgrading the fluid, different calipers, different wheels and rotors, always the same thing when very hot.

So, in an effort to stay ahead of the sneaky competition;

Here I've removed a semi-floating rivet style button for measurement,

And ordered a set of full-floating clip style

Hopefully the discs will actually float centered better and thus run cooler and if I'm lucky eliminate the drag? I know I could upgrade to a set of floating discs but I'm too stubborn and want to stay on the stock front end.

Stand clear off T3,

Desperate times...

After fiddling with some shim thickness, presto

One set of full floating stock rotors.

Now to find someone crazy enough to test it.

Any other upgrades to ensure Tony makes the Pitt grid? Might need to throw on a cow catcher to help get some clean laps!

Talk to the CCS guy about how the cow pushing strategy worked when he tried to mow through Voss.

(I know, I know. Not his fault....Just laugh at the joke.)

Ha, I see you saw our press kit interview with Russell. Between our rider and BLR's spare-no-expense technological approach to our race program....

You're right we're fucked.

Gonna be fun tho!
