A great 2 days! What a great organization. Racing is looking more and more appealing... frankly I'm running out of excuses.

Jon- Sorry I never saw you again. Friday night I made dinner at my tent, showered, and fell asleep on my hammock at about 8:30! I was rooting for you Saturday from T5.

Abbie- Great to meet you this weekend, I was happy to be there.

Volunteering is fun! Two seasons for me so far and I learn something new EACH weekend.
Looking forward to 2016! Hoping to recruit my daughter and her boyfriend to help too!

HUGE weekend coming up! June 10-12 will be a combined CRA/CCS weekend with what promises to be a huge turnout. There is no way to get closer to the action than volunteering!

Hi Guys, Any volunteers needed for Lunch, the air fence, or for race registration? I'll be racing all weekend and if I can save on the gate entry fee like last race weekend that would be awesome! Thanks in advance!

I would guess race reg is full, email Christine Treviranus for air fence (preferred to help both Thursday and Sunday), email hospitality for lunches, although if you are riding UNL SS you probably won't be able to make it in time to work lunch.

Race reg is full. Sounds like Lunches are full. Air fence might be a good opportunity.

Thanks for the info guys! Can I bother you guys again for Christine's email? Looking at the CRA website I would have to send a message to the worker liaison. Thanks again!

I brought a new corner worker (Tucker Brandstrom) in this past weekend and this was his post on Facebook:

Central Roadracing Association, damn, their workers and riders put on a hell of an event. Our event was beyond spectacular, everybody is super welcoming and the racing is something else. Coming from cars, watching the bikes is just mind blowing, and having the racers and their friends come up to you Sunday night, thanking you for helping keep them safe is unlike anything I've ever felt. I still can't believe it happened or that it was over that fast. Dennis, thank you, thank you so much for introducing me to one of the best things I've ever done. And June can't get here fast enough. I've got 2, possibly 3 new workers on the hook already to bring up!

(This is exactly the excitement we need in getting new workers involved, so EVERYONE do their part and recruit recruit recruit!)

Thanks Dennis!

I talked with a racer who sat out Sunday and decided to corner work when he heard the announcement that we needed help. His first question he asked me - where did we get the talent to run such a smooth race control? From the F&C Chiefs to the Stewards to the Race Control operators, he was fully impressed with how everything was handled.

I said yep, we have some serious talent that has been with the club a long time that really shines.

Keep on bringing friends everyone!
