Keep an eye out for Deltran battery tenders to go on sale again!

Anyone using Lithium batteries? What do you use for a charger?

Do different Lithium technologies get treated differently?

LiFE PO4
Lithium Iron
LithiumIon
etc...

I don't have one (anymore), but I'm looking into buying another one. Any suggestions on what brand? Type?

Well, it's been a month and no one has chimed in. Hopefully someone knows something? Post up a new thread about it and maybe it will get some more attention...

I followed Sam's winter storage procedure and after 4 months of sitting the gixxer started and ran no problem, thanks Sam. Blake :)

Question for the group.

I have typically stored some of my more favorite or rarer bikes in heated storage and the rest in cold storage.

They all get the complete Sam prep regardless if they are stored in heated or non heated storage.

Any thoughts on which is better? To be honest I have not seen any advantages between the two other than cold storage is cheaper.

Either have I. The only thing I do when I store it in non heated is pull the battery and bring it inside and put it on a charger.

Ninja edit: I used to get my bike stored at DSC "warm storage," For what I paid for and what I received, it could have been stored outside with no cover in the snow all year long.

Probably just have longer rubber hose life, and less chance of rust from condensation (changing temp/humidity daily).

I currently run a Shorai lithium battery in my race bike. I bought a Deltran Battery Tender Lithium Junior and keep it charged on that anytime I'm not at the track. I'm not sure how old the battery originally was, but it's never failed me yet during the year I've owned the bike thus far.
