Great Group and fairly large turnout yesterday at MotoPrimo. Looks like we had 33 potential new racers complete the classroom portion.

Looked like a packed house to me!

Thanks to MotoPrimo as always for hosting and offering some nice deals, we were able to score some good dirt bike gear for the kids!

Since the Tul-aris used a toothed belt (which does not cause a reversal in direction) for its primary drive, no intermediate jackshaft was required.

It's commonly known that the transmission is from a Ducati 916. What's less commonly know is that the gearshafts are stacked vertically. This allows the swingarm to be longer for a given wheelbase. Rob had this idea before it appeared in any production motorcycle. To better accommodate the engine's narrow powerband, the gearbox contained some custom ratios provided by Vee Two (a Ducati specialist in Australia).

Looking again at the photos, I believe I see the belt drive right on the side of the motor, correct?

Assume this means the engine and trans were not connected internally?

Jim who did the bodywork out of the group? Was that Rob himself or was someone else proficient with Carbon?

Maybe there is some sort of curse at Honda for the 2nd rider? Would explain a lot about Dani.
