Going to San Diego for a work trip and extending my stay for a few days. Going to do some hiking and some swimming, might check out the USS Midway Museum since I get in for free, considering going Snorkeling with Leopard Sharks, and probably going to stop by the Stone Brewery. Anything else that I should put on my list?

Seaport village is pretty cool. Small shops and fun stuff to do. A block away is the bar where Top Gun was shot. If you go north from seaport there is a bunch of Naval museums and old ships. You can spend an hour in each one and not see everything.

The Midway was pretty cool. The zoo is worthwhile too. There are some cool museums near the zoo, including sports, movie cars and aeronautical. The aeronautical one was awesome, if you are into planes.

That would be cool, be a real conversation starter, for sure.
Before that huge flood in Duluth, the Lake Superior Zoo had just that. The Polar Bear had this giant red ball that must have weighted 20-30# and would throw it up over the 20 foot wall into the viewing area... You would grab the ball, chuck it back and he would chase it down and do it again. One of the coolest things I have ever experienced.
