So last race of the weekend I'm feeling super cool and comfortable all the sudden. Turns out the reason why is one of the zippers in my suit blew up. Anybody know how or where to fix that?

Thanks,
Tom

Someone should put a post with all the area folks that can do it, and pin it in the track forum. Would prevent having to sift through multiple different threads.

Got it fixed today on the spot...turns out the sliding part was bad. Took the gal down the street all of a half hour to fix it.

So i just found out that i can get Sidi replacement soles for $20!

https://www.revzilla...sport-boot-sole

I took my boots into Lee's Shoe Repair on Lake Street and left after a less than confidence inspiring 5 minute conversation - i don't think he had seen racing boots before.

Has anyone had any experience getting race boots re-soled in the area? I am planning a trip to Mike's in Eagan for suit repair - so i will ask him - but just wondering if anyone has any experience with getting boots repaired or resoled.

Thanks!

I'll add Parkridge Shoe and Shoe Repair for my Sioux Falls area friends. They've resoled my Alpinestar boots and make minor repairs to my leathers. For my more major repairs I used Lizzy's Leather, noted above.

I used a local shoe repair place (see above) with good results, even though the lady at the counter gave me a funny look. The work ended up being good though!

You resoled your Alpinestars boots? Where did you source the new soles from? I know they sell soles for their dirtbike boots but not for the Supertech R. Did you use the dirtbike sole?

Anyone recall the repair shop just down the road from BIR that repaired Harry's zipper last race weekend? That will be a good one to list here too.
