If your only riding your bike once a week there is a problem...

actually it is about 2-3 times a week all 200+ miles a ride.

Well then how are you spending more time washing the bike than riding it? Shouldnt take more than and hour if you do it once a week.

Lol! Thanks for the invite and I could drive us, but I have a basketball tournament far away starting on the 30th. Lame.

Good post. Wish more people would take these thoughts/ideas/suggestions into consideration when on a group ride. :popop:

I like cleaning my bike (using the now renamed "Honda Polish) before every long ride. It's a ritual that helps put me in the riding state of mind.

Poser. :P

Another popular thing to do is get to the front of the pack and crack a big fart, that way everyone has to ride through it...ok, maybe that is unpopular here :naughty:

I would like to add: Dont blow by the leader doing 100mph on a normal paced group ride on a Honda v-twin sportbike. Its scares the bejezzus out of him/her.

True story.

Pay attention to rule #6 - it's the most important for you.

Enjoy the summer and don't be shy about asking questions!

A good way for a poser to become a popular ride leader is to have a model pose topless facing backwards on the passenger seat ( on a ladies ride a Chippendale would work).
