SO if HW went away would that allow Novices to bump to UNL on MW's when they can't currently?

If the board decided to take away HW, they would be wise to consider allowing MW novice's to bump to UNL if there was no alternative class in that category implemented. Considering there are only about 2-3 UNL novice riders every year, this seems like a no brainer to allow novices to bump if HW isn't an option. All hypothetical at this point; I don't believe HW to be going away. With the addition of the 90's cup, and the fact that it's tacked on to the back of the HW race, and HW experts and novices are starting in the same wave, I'd be okay with seeing it go away all together. I'd rather race with expert UNL racers, than HW novice racers.

I ran the CCS 300 class on my R3, when we raced with them at RA, which isn't eligible. I earn CRA points, but not CCS points. In 2017 there was a CCS rider that rode a Ducati 400 in FW, he was protested, and did not earn CRA points, I believe he still got CCS points. He was instructed to sign up for FW, even though he wasn't eligible. I would assume something similar to that would work with the 790.

Will is spot on with the conversions like this - a CCS racer with the CRA on a KTM790 would run with the CRA LW race, and be DQ'd from CRA points but earn CCS points. At least that's how it's worked in the past!
