I've got it from a Source (who shall remain un-named) that the Rules are DONE. Now the wait begins.

400 Ninjas ?
Unlimited Displacement Singles?
Motards with Manufactures Statement of Origin Stamped with "off road use only"?
What about the Kramers?
Baby Pins?
Slicks in all Classes?

All soon to be reviled.

Hope it is posted on this space.....

With any luck they'll post an article on the main CRA site which will automatically feed here!

No idea on the other stuff but I would say 99.9% slicks will be in SS! I hope, anyways

If not, they'll have some explaining to do. But I'm hopeful.

Never threatened to quit. Bought a bike that had 5 races. Could you imagine the outrage if heavyweight was dropped? Or as I like to call it; middleweight number 2

"Im done after this year." -You (on more than 1 half drunk occasion)

:biglaugh:

I like heavyweight and consistently run it, but if the club voted to remove it and replace it with something else, then the majority has spoken. That just means I'd have to put my big boy pants on and bump up to UNL. I have a feeling other MW riders would do the same.

I'm just happy to be able to race 2 hours away from home.

This may be but it never had to do with rules or the club. More to do with wanting to buy a place in Puerto Rico or something. If I lose races then that is more of a reason to stay and be a pain in the ass till I get my races back. Also, if heavyweight was removed the club would lose their shit. Maybe not you but it would happen. There is already pushback from me requesting to have some Kramer races as a wave of heavyweight.

If you getting 1 or 2 more races a weekend means you aren't going to move to PR, then I'll sign your petition!!!

This conversation largely doesn't effect me, but I hope there is a happy medium decided. I realize that might not be totally possible, but I think that the board will do what's best to try to make the most people happy while keeping other regional class structures in mind.

I wish we could move to PR now but that is a ways down the road. We have to find a house that works first then let vacationers pay for it for ten years!

The board will get it figured out. I guess I can always enter other races and just let people protest me. 😂😂

A to remain unnamed board member confirmed slicks in SS to me about two weeks ago. At the time the only rule they still needed to vote on was the whole UL debacle.

SO if HW went away would that allow Novices to bump to UNL on MW's when they can't currently?
