I believe Brian already has this. The app (rMonitor) is free.

Brian can correct me if I'm wrong.

True, but it is still a trial and nothing is final with the CRA using it long term. The app on your phone is $5.

I agree with having an announcer! Everyone enjoys it when we have had one.

Thank you to everyone on the BOD! You have put a lot of time and effort into improving the club. It is very much appreciated!

+1 on the announcing. Many of the people I've brought up to the track were lucky enough to be there when we had one and LOVED it!
Could we take up a collection, and or make this a compensated position? What it adds to the event from a spectating aspect is amazing with the right person behind the mic. I know we all should be paid for all we do in a perfect world, but this connects directly with the enjoyment of the event, as well as educating our spectators. Besides, the Stewards, BOD, and Workers are worth more than gold- so payment would be a slap in the face... B)

I pledge $25 towards an announcer.

That's an interesting proposition, I'll bring it up with the BoD at the track this weekend.

Keep 'em coming folks, obviously I know what is number one on the list!

To use the windows app, you have to be close to the tower on the wifi connection. Its nice to be able to be anywhere and get live scoring!

I don't really have any Idea how to do this because despite my personal efforts I've managed to bring only one person, and only for one weekend.

But anything that can be done to increase worker participation, corners are short staffed like crazy...

Full or partial refunds for major mechanical failures or personal injury.
Example: you register for a bunch of races in a Double sprint weekend and your motor blows or you break a bone early Saturday. The shortened weekend and loss of $ is insult to injury...literally.

This was going to be one of my suggestions, it's one of a few things I like about CCS although their fees are huge compared to CRA so it's a little easier to take.

1. Riders meeting after morning practice instead of before, a few extra hours of sleep makes a huge difference to your race day.

2. If not a later meeting, make it optional and post the information next to the grids with a sheet to sign saying that you read it. Why make someone wake up early and then sit around for 2 or 3 hours so they can hear the same info they've heard at every other meeting?

3. Ability to sign up for half of a Friday practice day for those that don't need the whole day or can't make it up Thursday night and would like some track time.

4. Get rid of the antiquated class structures. What is Gran Prix anyway and why is it needed in addition to superbike? This is more directed at all of club racing, I'm sure it would be complicated to figure out good classes and fit them in, it just seems silly to race one bike in six different classes against a bunch of other bikes that are in all of them too.

5. This might be done already and I'm not remembering it but have open practice after the races are done if there is time left over.

6. Lengthen the number of years that you can go without a license without having to take new riders school and go back to novice.

We have only done one race with the CRA so far. Had a blast. We felt very welcome. The weekend went very smooth from a new racer stand point. Wanted to THANK the club and BOD for the hard work they have put in. See you this weekend
