I pay 96 a month on mine. Trying to rebuild credit from my divorce. so i normally get a loan keep it for 13 months then pay it off

I was at Jon's yesterday when they showed up.

One of the bearings seized up on a trip to Ely. I cut the belt off and downloaded a stock tune so I could ride it home safely.

Progressive cuts me a $12 check to insure my grom for a year(liability only)!!! That's right, they PAY ME to ride the grom.

Jeff, when I had mine I did sort of the same thing; instead of paying for it outright I just kept the money in my savings and took out a loan for the full amount for just under $100/month and I just paid it off in a little over a year. I think my rate was like 1.9% or some crazy low figure so in the end I gave the CU like $125 for the pleasure of keeping my money for a year.

Insurance was just about $50/year full coverage.

Wish I had ridden mine more. In almost two years of ownership I only had 400 odd miles on it. Only put 102 miles on my Kymco I bought to replace it but I paid about 1/3 a much for it as the From and if it sits I don't feel bad. You guys that ride them Grom's hard and in the winter I salute you: $2k is about the level I start to care about stuff enough to not let it sit, not beat it and actually try to keep it nice. It was a fun runabout but at my size and with my fucked up back it wasn't worth the discomfort to keep it as a conversation piece. At some point I may pick one up again but for now the scooter is more practical.

I've had mine a little less than a month and have put on 1200 miles already. At 18,000 miles it will of paid for itself in just gas savings alone compared to riding my zx10r. 4500 miles compared to my pickup lol.

That's not bad at all. Just am trying to see if it's justifiable to sell the pitbike and buy a grom or not.

Grom is fuel injected and obviously built better but am not sure if it's 2k more dollars better. Hmmm.
