If they got a national geographic documentary about how dangerous they are, it is probably not the wisest thing to cross them and then leave your picture and info on the meetup site. All im sayin :lol2:

Your lookin for scooter friends and they are gonna start disappearing real quick :kicknuts:

Oh... well you didn't say "national geographic documentary" until now. Was Peg Bundy in it?

You know what would be more likely?
They'd tell the guy who started the group to change the name. And I'm sure the guy would... and the issue would be resolved. No Sons of Anarchy stuff needed. Whew!

Hey Dan!

I'll have more free time in June (classes will be over for the year). But I can occasionally find some time to scoot. Casey, Luke, Rob and some crazy "Bagels" guy had a fun ride to Sal's last Monday.

Newsflash - Don't adventure into Elk River. Every time you wheelie or skid to a stop sign, there's a damn cop. We behaved like angels, I swear... :/

My scooter might have taken a fatal blow on Monday. I need to tear apart the rear drive train and see what's bent. My rear wheel is all wobbly. I'm hoping it's just bearings.

Pretty close. I tightened my rear brake up before a long ride. Then after a romp through a sketchy bmx type track in N.E. where I had a couple hard landings the rear started to get more and more wobbly. Bagels was behind me and told me (on the Sena radios) it looked terrible. So I pulled over. He tried to grab the wheel nut to spin it to see if it's loose. But it only burned his fingers. I'm guessing the brakes some how got jarred hard enough to partially engage causing it to heat up everything in the rear drive. I find it hard to believe the wheel itself is bent. I'm hoping it's just bearings that were destroyed by the heat. After we pulled over I loosened the rear brake adjuster and continued riding home. The wobble got a little better, but it's still there. I still gotta take it apart and see what's up.
