Site Hacking 9-25-2011

Our host got hacked this morning, looks like thousands of sites got affected.
All fixed now, let me know if anyone has any issues.

it almost seems like the hacker did it just to say "hey, look what i can do!
" and did no real harm in doing so

As others have stated, thank you for getting the issue resolved so promptly.
On a side note, can I ask(because I am not very computer smart) if there was any risk of our personal information like passwords being seen/stolen or virus/spyware concerns relating to our PC's?

No risk to personal info (besides what you've entered into your bios) taken, passwords are fine. Not sure what that page did as I never loaded it, someone said it started downloading something? Not sure. From what I've read online it seems pretty harmless.

That was quick to fix! I wasn't expecting it up until later today.
IIRC last time this came up the passwords question came up and as long as it is running a non ancient version of software things should be fine. Since at least a few years ago most forum software has stored passwords in a manner in which they can't be revealed (one-way function it is called).
