It was awesome seeing it out there! And more exciting that it didn't have any catastrophic moments!

    Snow.

In what regard? Getting snow in the spokes and getting off balance? I assume they could easily make sidewalls to keep out debris.

One thing I thought of early but didn't mention was consistent cushion from the tire ribs. In cold weather I would imagine they could get pretty stiff. And I assume those ribs heat up with use like a normal sidewall would.

This has been a concept for along time. I think it has been commercially available for things like fork lifts. But has it make it to commuter vehicles?

As far as motorcycles to, I can't imagine it would be easy to use the little crinkle-cut suspension arm design in a 3-D MC tire. Car tires are more 2-dimensional, so once you introduce a curved tire profiles and lean angle, how do you design for that?

I was actually just thinking about these tires a month or so ago. I haven't researched them much, but I'm curious what all the barriers are to make these commercially viable for commuter cards. They would be great candidates for retreading once they're worn out.

How is this shaping up? Ready for CRA? I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.
