on 62 if you're going westbound between Gleason rd and 169 southbound (212 eastbound and Gleason if you're going the other way) enterance you have a mile-mile and a half strech of open freeway. Rarely patrolled area. Havn't seen too many police on it and I drive on it nearly everyday. I was on it today at about 100 mph. The roadway is pretty decent, just watch out when changing lanes, there are a few small holes in the road.

I forgot to add this note, if you're going westbound on 212 after 169, slow it down after the 212 curve/Shady Oak Rd. Eden Prairie as been doing alot of speed traps lately on 212/5. Edina police do laser from on top of Gleason rd. bridge, but I've only seen that once.

Highway 10 just south of Anoka. 3-4 lanes wide, new pavement, tall concrete walls on both sides for a mile. Every time I hit that spot I blip it up to 150 for a couple seconds.

mmm... a little high speed sounds good. I havn't seen over 125 since I put it back together. Once I get new tires I'll see if I can get that indicated 180 again.

Heading North on 35E towards Forest Lake from White Bear Lake cops are few & far between (usually). I like to put the speedo around low 150's in there. I have no clue what the actual speed is tho bcuz of the custom gearing I put on it. I have to get off my lazy arse and ziptie my GPS to the guage cluster.

That reminds me, I still need to hit you up on checking out how far mine was off. I saw 181... if my bike only goes 164? (I forget the actual number) how fast was I actually going?

No problem. When we hook up, I'll bring it along & we'll zip tie it to your cluster.

About the stretch of 62 between gleason and 169, if you follow the road to 212/hi5 the cops LOVE to set up state fund raisers at Shady Oak RD. Be really careful there. In fact, if you get off on Shady Oak Rd and turn left (coming from 62) and turn right on Flying Cloud Dr there are some fun corners and fresh pavement. Dont see many cops around there. At the intersection (a T at Valley View, turn left, then Take a left (continuation of Valley View), Turn Right on Washington (Simply Sportbikes will be about 3/4 of a mile down on the right...stop in and take a break) and washington turns into Viking Dr and is strait, 2 lanes on either side, just watch out for slower traffic. If you take a right at Prairie Center Dr and take your first right you'll be back on Valley View...if you play aroun in this area you can make a nice 2 mile loop and run a couple laps late at night. Very Fun IMO.
